The funny answers children give to our questions. In example, “who knows a solution to the pollution because of emission gasses by cars? Oh, just put clothes pin on it!”.
How did you got interested in TLG?

How did you get interested in sports?
I love sports since I was a little girl. That’s why I studied ALO (Academy for Sports) to become a sports instructor. I did water polo for some time, followed by soft ball and then started professional gymnastics. Gymnastics was the sport I loved most because you need your entire body and it increases strength keeps you fit! I did this for many years and trained the competition group at the same time before I started working at TLG where gymnastics is also the base for all classes.

What do you love to do in your free time?
I love to do gymnastics and dancing. Besides that I appreciate reading a book and my kids are my passion.

What can't you live without?
My kids, the sun and ice creams :)

Where have you lived?
I live my whole life in Haarlem. In between I lived in Costa Rica for one year to finish my study.

It's just amazing to see how children enter the gym, some can't wait, others a little shy but at the end they all leave the Gym with a big smile. The honesty and imagination of children makes the openings circle always so much fun. After this the big adventure starts and kids love to join you. Hearing children laugh and see them having fun in the gym or from the lobby is just great!

How did you get interested in sports?
As a little girl I refused to walk independently. But when I had to, my passion for sport started. Soon I transformed the living room into a gym and my parents decided that gymnastics had to be something for me. And they were right! After some time I did professional gymnastics and I trained a few times per week. Besides training I studied and Biology & physical educations were my favorites. From this day on sports became a very important part of my life.

What do you love to do in your free time?
I love to be with friends and my family. Picking a terrace or visiting the park. Especially when the sun shines! A few times per year you can find me in Italy; a country I really love.

What can't you live without?
I love to have my family and friends around me. Their company is something I can't live without!

Where have you lived?
I'm born in Alphen aan den Rijn and since a couple of years I live in Leiden.

During the openings circle in PreK classes you do your best as instructor to explain the kids where the class is about that day. You tell them what we are going to practice and what our theme is. Often something magical happens with one of the kids and at such moments they just HAVE to tell you what’s in their mind. You can imagine that when your sharing the theme ‘storytelling’ and what that means, a child just begins to share his/het story with you about having a sleep over at grandma and grandpa. Or that you are explaining them what ‘cooperation’ means and a child starts to tell you it’s his brothers birthday! This open-mindedness and spontaneity makes me loving my job every day.

How did you get interested in sports?
As a little girl I already had that endless energy. I climbed, moved, spinned and rolled. My parents decided at that time gymnastics was really something for me. Since I was 8 I practiced professional gymnastics and trained 6 times per week. Gymnastics made me to who I am today. I’m strong and flexible. My child hood was maybe a little different than others had but I wouldn’t have missed it for a bit. I still profit from it in different ways.

What do you love to do in your free time?
Obviously I enjoy the happy family life with my son Boris and my partner. During winter time I go skiing with friends where we often look for nice spots to FreeRide. In Summer you can find us at the beach finding a balance between surfing, enjoying the sun and having a drink.

What can't you live without?
My son Boris

Where have you lived?
Born in Krommenie, lived in Amsterdam and since 5 years in Utrecht.

The adventure in the jungle or in the woods. A bat falling a sleep up side down, swinging from branch to branch, bear in a cave, rolling through the mud and crocodiles biting in your ...! Favorite skill for Parent/Child is the BackWhoopDidoo! Favorite skill for pre-k is pull over to front support & the handstand

How did you get interested in sports?
I have always been an energetic person and I loved to be active. I've did professional gymnastics for many years, played hockey and danced. I've studied at the ALO (sports academy) in Amsterdam. Why do I want to pass my enthousiasme about gymnastic and the importance of it to children? While moving children learn a lot about themselves and about the world around them. A child that moves easily and effective builds self-confidence and becomes a confident person. It makes them strong and flexible everywhere they go!

What do you love to do in your free time?
I love to do activities with friends like skiing, weekends out, enjoying the sun together or making day trips.

What can't you live without?
People around me (especially the ones who are close to me), dancing and good food!

Where have you lived?
I'm from Zundert (Brabant) and afterwards I lived in Culemborg. Since some years I live in Amsterdam.
