General Terms & Conditions of The Little Gym Haarlem, version CPX 824-09
Tuition Fees
Monthly enrollment fees are collected via automatic direct debit.
For new members, a one-time registration fee will be charged upon enrollment. The registration fee is non-refundable. All tuition fees include 9% VAT.
Valid card details must be provided upon enrollment. If your card expires, you are required to contact The Little Gym® Haarlem to update your information.
If we are unable to collect the payment for any reason (e.g., insufficient funds), The Little Gym® Haarlem will contact you to arrange payment. The Little Gym® Haarlem also reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect. However, you will still be liable for any outstanding membership fees and any costs incurred in the collection of the debt.
The Little Gym® Haarlem will inform its members at least 30 days in advance of any changes to the fee structure.
Public Holidays & Make-Up Classes
If a scheduled class during the school term falls on an official public holiday, a make-up class will be offered. Make-up classes must be used before the end of the school year or before cancellation of the membership. Unused make-up classes will not be refunded. The first week of January, King’s Day, and Liberation Day are considered closed days, no classes will be held, and no make-up classes will be available.
To be eligible for a make-up class, an absence must be reported no later than 9:00 AM on the day of the class. Cancellations can be sent to haarlem@thelittlegym.eu. Leaving a voicemail message is also sufficient. Please call or email to schedule a make-up class so we can maintain the correct child-to-instructor ratio.
Holidays
The Little Gym® Haarlem follows the regular class schedule during school weeks. During school holidays, we offer alternative activities such as additional classes and member events.
During the six-week summer holiday, you will receive 6 credits to use at The Little Gym® Haarlem throughout that summer period. These credits can be redeemed for classes (1 credit per class), camps (2 credits per camp), and events (1 credit per event) during the holiday period. Credits cannot be used for special camps/events.
Behavioral Issues
If a child disrupts classes or activities, or poses a danger to themselves or others, efforts will be made together with the parents and the child to find a solution. If the undesirable behavior continues or other problematic behavior arises, the child may be asked to pause their participation
Force Majeur
The Little Gym® Haarlem reserves the right to cancel activities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a government-imposed lockdown or restricted access to The Little Gym® Haarlem. In the event of such force majeure, activities that normally take place in the gym may be replaced with an alternative offering. If these alternative activities are provided by The Little Gym®, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
Cancellation & Refund
After an initial enrollment period of three months, you may cancel your membership at any time with one full calendar months’ notice, submitted in writing via email to haarlem@thelittlegym.eu. The cancellation is only final once it has been confirmed by us via email. Unused classes will not be refunded.
In exceptional circumstances, such as injury the membership can be frozen for a maximum of 2 months. After that period, it will automatically resume, and the standard one-month cancellation notice still applies. Deposits for birthday parties and payments for camps are non-refundable.

To ensure the safety of all children, they must be dressed comfortably and be barefoot during class. Jewelry, food, and chewing gum are not allowed in the gym. Adults entering the gym area are asked to remove their shoes and keep their socks on.
